REQUEST: "Breathe (2AM)" by Anna Nalick for Gentry Claussen

OK first off, it has been way too long since our last post. What can we say, life is full, but have no fear in the few free moments we have we are working hard to bring your dedications and requests to life.

This week's song, "Breathe" by Anna Nalick, goes out to Gentry Claussen. When Gentry first emailed (which was eons ago, our apologies) she said "I would love to hear your voice singing this amazing song. I probably would cry." Well get out your tissues Gentry because this one is for you :).

Anna Nalick released her debut album in 2005 which featured our request song. Miss Nalick really knocked it out of the park on her first try, as "Breathe (2AM)" became an instant radio hit.

Now you may wonder what happened to Anna and why we didn't hear more from her on the tail of her huge hit, I know I sure did. Turns out Nalick left her label under Sony in 2009 after some falling out drama surrounding the release of her second album. But have no fear, Nalick got her shit together and released her second album "Broken Doll and Odds and Ends" in June 2011. Way to go Anna!
